sales@wholesale-k.comHalocarbon and its authorized distribution partner Wholesale Industry work together to help customers across Asia create their next breakthrough.
Halocarbon is a U.S.-based specialist that has built up fluorochemistry expertise since its founding in 1950. It is headquartered in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and runs its own manufacturing operations in North Augusta, South Carolina.
For industries where performance and reliability cannot be compromised — aerospace, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, energy and MRO — it supplies PCTFE- and PFPE-based oils, greases and fluorinated building blocks, and brings long-standing strength in custom synthesis tailored to each customer's process.
* A summary; the exact history and figures follow the headquarters' official records.
Established in New Jersey, USA as a fluorochemistry specialist. Its early products were special-purpose lubricants for the U.S. military, and meeting the high-performance requirements of military navigation systems and mechanical components laid the foundation for its later move into aerospace.
Supplied gyroscope fluids for the navigation systems of the crewed Apollo lunar program. The stability of PCTFE was proven under extreme temperatures and oxygen environments — the decisive period in which it began to establish itself as a standard solution for the aerospace industry.
PCTFE-based Halocarbon oils and greases became established as the standard solution for demanding industries such as aerospace, chlor-alkali (chlorine / alkali), oxygen service and reactive gas service. The Halocarbon 200 · 400 · 700 · 1000N standard grade system was established.
Strengthened its inhalation anesthetics intermediates business. Accumulating manufacturing experience with fluorine-containing APIs such as sevoflurane, it expanded in earnest into the pharmaceutical and medical intermediates space.
Expanded into high-purity fluorine intermediates for semiconductor photoresists and monomers, agrochemical raw materials, and PCTFE/PFPE polymer applications. Reinforced its quality management systems for highly regulated industries.
Relocated headquarters from New Jersey to Peachtree Corners, Georgia (the Atlanta area). Brought online an integrated supply and research system centered on the North Augusta, South Carolina (Aiken County) manufacturing plant, and ramped up production of anesthetics and specialty fluorochemicals.
Launched the InfinX brand along with an e-commerce-based distribution channel. Organized application-specific specialized series such as InfinX MRO KF, InfinX AERO and InfinX HaloVac®. A digital transformation giving customers direct access to product information.
Launched three new metalworking fluids (MWF) for precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials on the InfinX platform. A lineup that improves tool life and surface quality in the machining of Ti, W and Ni alloys for the aerospace and defense industries.
The headquarters officially announced a CEO transition for its next phase of growth, with new leadership steering the strategic direction. Supply and technical support in Korea continue to operate normally, without change, through Wholesale Industry.
As Halocarbon's Korea authorized distributor, Wholesale Industry draws on its experience in industrial-materials distribution to provide field-specific services such as Korean-language technical consulting, local stock, localization of regulatory documents, and sample-evaluation support.
* The timeline above is a summary compiled from the headquarters' official sources (halocarbon.com, official LinkedIn profile) and published industry press coverage (Aiken Standard / Post and Courier). Exact figures and dates follow the headquarters' official announcements.
Not simply chemical supply, but solutions tailored to each customer's process conditions, together with a deep reference base built up over many years.
Reliability built up in areas where no compromise is possible — oxygen service, aerospace and pharmaceutical.
Custom-synthesis capability for conditions that standard products cannot solve.
Committed to responsible manufacturing and supply-chain management, and supporting customers with their regulatory compliance.
Wholesale Industry is a Korean company whose core business is specialist industrial-materials distribution, and it serves as Halocarbon's Korea authorized distributor.
